I am having a heck of a time grabbing one of these! I swear, most eBay users must have some kind of software that indicates they have been outbid, so they can bid at the last minute. It's FRUSTRATING!
I think I'm about to give up!

Nope, not bidding on those - but ebay does have a tool bar that will monitor your bids and there is also a "wireless" thingie that will let you know when you are outbid.

I had the toolbar installed once - but I thought it was a bit obsessive-compulsive so I removed it.

Same here, but I've had to stay off as a bidder lately since we have been dead broke since the move!

Please enlighten me on the attraction of Burberry. I do not really get their signature checks and patches design. I just don't. Their other designs are ok but their signature look, huh??

Many pubs near me won't let you in if you're wearing Burberry check, it's kind of seen as a troublemaker (chav) thing

I used to use an auction sniper a long time ago, but then I started doing it manually. I open the page twice, and on one I go to where I'm going to put my bid in and have it ready to just hit enter. On the other one, I have the page that I keep refreshing.
It's kind of exciting and it feels like I actually won something if I win.
A lot of people snipe now, so you have to make sure you put in the absolute highest you're willing to go--which, I suppose, is the point of an auction anyway, but if you start bidding early you get attached and it's hard to let it go. $10 turns in to $50 because you can't let "her" get it!

What's a chav?

Oh, and good luck!

Sorry, but my affinity is for cashmere, not any mere wool, which is why I love Burberry scarves. They are luxurious, and and those who poke fun at them probably can't afford the cost, and are likely just jealous.
I'm not British, so I don't care about the whole different tartan business.

I wasn't aware of the Burberry connection either...Praps they have luxurious trailers in the UK?
...Their trash are just really posh??

But the tartan thing is Scottish, not British...so I don't think that's it..

I have one in my closet too and like the feels of it.. I don't think they are very expensive in the UK which is where mine came from...But not sure.

Oh I thought they were just normal scarves and was about to say you can pick one of them up for a buck at our local New World. Didn't realise they were cashmere. Cashmeres too itchy for me.
