I love Bluegrass and use this free site to listen to it as I surf and post on the internet. Notice all the genres you can choose from. The music 'streams' in and there are very few commercials in fact, some stations(at least the B/G ones) have next to none or none at all. Just pick out the type of music you prefer and let it play thru your PC's speakers.

I download it and listen to it through Windows Media Player. Right now I'm listening to Dragonste Din Tei by O'Zone. Streaming takes too long on my connection and computer.

I'm a huge, huge fan of Internet Radio. A good place to start is:

http://www.radioio.com/

which has a bunch of different formats. My favorite is the Ambient channel.
Also check out Live365.

To get really good sound, you should take the sound out of your computer and run it into the stereo. Here's what I use, the Squeezebox:

http://www.slimdevices.com/index.html

GREAT sound!

I also put all my CDs (about 600) on the computer, and play them through the Squeezbox. I never touch the CD player now. I can instantly access any song in my collection, or one of thousands of radio stations, all using a remote control. I don't even have to touch the computer. And the Squeezebox sounds better than a CD player.

I may be putting some Christmas music on here soon...but usually I just like peace and quiet. We have neighbors who play really loud music sometimes....so when it`s quiet I just enjoy it!

I have a grand total of 2,800 tracks even on this computer alone, not to mention the 30 or so GB of music sitting in my external drive. So yes, I'd say I'm a big fan of listening to music ALL the time, even at my computer. I mean...I'm majoring in it!!

I do sometimes, but most of the time I don't because it'll disturb Cupid, who is usually sleeping on me or by me--and I like it out in the open, not in headphones. I download them, and I usually just play them in iTunes because it's pretty.
