Has anyone else had a cat who had to go through a Bone marrow aspiration? My cat will have to and I wanted to be prepared on it..

in humans they take a long needle and stick it in I beleive the hip ... it is an extremely painful procedure

didnt mean to make you cry but that is my memory of seeing that on a human..I am sure shell have little pain with the pain killers around for kitties now..

I wonder how much a Bone marrow aspiration is? The doc won't give me a price until I actually go there.
