I am located in southern California.
My tuxcedo cat Pearl has been biting her right claw; there's no injury that I can see. She lets me touch her claws with no problem. She's walking and jumping fine. I have to clip them they are a bit long. Do you have any idea why she might be doing this? Shelley, Pearl, and Brandy

Don't worry -- she's just trying to remove the old, worn-out tip of her claw to reveal a new, sharp one underneath. That's how cats take care of it when they can't get an appointment with a human manicurist. :-)
