I think Simba really resembles the Asian Leopard Cat, especially in the face. Even though his eyes look really green in this picture, because of the lighting, they really aren't as green as they look here, and I think Simba's eyes and face are almost identical to the Asian Leopard Cats face. Of course Simba's ears aren't as rounded, but still I think he has a very strong resemblance, which I assume is a good thing, due to the fact that he's a Bengal.

Here are pictures of Simba and an Asian Leopard Cat. What do you think?

First here's Simba

Yeah I think you can really see the Asian Leopard cat in Simba. To me, he's such a cutie pie. I must say I adore this little guy.

I can't wait till all Bengals have the same small rounded ears as the ALC's.

I saw a first generation Bengal a few days ago and she looked exactly the same as the ALC - with those stunning ears. Just devine.

Beautiful cat! And I also definitely see the resemblance.
Here's a bit about the ears from one Bengal standard:

Ears:
\t\tSize: Overall size medium. Height: Medium to medium-short, \t\tallowance to be made for larger appearing ears on kittens up to 12 \t\tmonths. Base: Wide in proportion to height. Tips: Rounded \t\tdesirable. Placement: Set as much on side as top of head, \t\tfollowing the contour of the face in the frontal view, and tipping \t\tforward in the profile view. Furnishings: Light horizontal \t\tfurnishings acceptable; but lynx tipping undesirable.

ALSO -

General: The goal of the Bengal breeding program is to create a \t\tdomestic cat which has physical features distinctive to the small \t\tforest-dwelling wild cats, but with the loving, dependable, temperament \t\tof the domestic cat. Keeping this goal in mind, judges shall give \t\tspecial merit to those characteristics in the appearance of the Bengal \t\twhich are distinct from those found in other domestic cat breeds.

Hope,

I just saw this thread and yep, Simba looks very much like an ALC.
Gotta love his big nocturnal eyes.....you got yourself a winner there.
