...for Zhukov. Rob's son's boy.

Rob (Jr) was here last night for dinner and laundry, and stopped to chat while I was at the computer. He said he was having some peeing issues with Zhukov, so we did a quick search of the forums. As he read over my shoulder, he said, "Hmmm...looks like we go to the vet tomorrow."

The upshot is that the boy has a blocked urinary tract, and one of the possible options, as of noon today, was surgery. He just called to say that that's what's going to happen, and Zhu will be at the vet until Monday.

So...Board Magic, in whatever form you have available, would be most appreciated. Zhu is a lovely, sweet red tabby boy.

I am also hoping everything turns out ok. When our kitty had to have surgery on his broken femur, I was so worried. But he came out ok, Really really drugged up and mad, but I dont think he even remembers.

My prayers are with your little guy.

That's the truth, Becki -- for which I am most grateful.

Many thanks for all your good wishes. I don't have any further news yet, but will post whenever there's something to report, and of course will let Rob know he's got a huge cheering section for his boy.

I haven't talked to Rob (Jr) myself, as he called after I was in bed last night, but I did get a report from Rob (Sr). Apparently the boy is home, all seems to be well, he has a change of diet, he needs a bit of dental work, but that will wait a few weeks until he's well over this. I think I'll call Jr later on and get it from the horse's mouth, but for now there's considerable relief in our little world.
