I am writting this in tears. Its been a short time since I found him. Last night LG came in as usual and cuddled us before bed. This evening I hadnt seen him since I had been home so I looked for him. Sadly I found him...in his favourite cabinet. He had passed away. So sudden and I am in tears right now, so pardon any typos. It appeared he got in a spat with one of the dogs or other cats. There was a small wound near his eye and some blood. But he was asleep, and peacefull. We can take solace in that. I cant help but think there was something else we could do. And feel partly to blame. But he was a cat that kept to himself. Since he had been here. Always liked to sleep in the cabinet. got love when he wanted it. And left it at that. He made us laugh in the past few weeks as he came out of his shell more, and began to play alot in the living room. I am heartbroken. I feel to blame. And he is going to be missed horribly.

Thank you. I wish it hadnt of happened
it happened so suddenly. There was nothing we could have done. I know he is in a better place. But steve and I have been in tears since we found him. We are going to thaw some ground tommrow and give him a proper burial. Sweet Lg..he was only with us a short time. But we loved him while he was here. And we will forever love him. We are blessed to have four of his babies with us.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't believe that you did anything to feel the blame for. Unfortunately animals do sometimes spat. Who knows what happened but it sounds like he went peacefully. He left you some very adorable kitties so take solace in them.

I had to have two of my babies cremated too. They are really faded in their little boxes now, that sit on top of my TV. I love having them with me, one day I'll find a good place to put them to rest.

*hugs* its tough it took me several years to find my sweet scamper an urn. Now I know where to get some great ones. So i dont have to have the box.. I picked out several to show steve in the morning. I just dont know what else to do.. I am so lost..right now I just feel numb from crying.

We had Vinnie cremated as well. We found a beautiful wood Pet Urn on ebay that holds a photo and has Vinnie's name, date of birth and the date he passed. This seller is wonderful, here is the link. http://stores.ebay.com/Snowy-Pine-Memorials
