It's the 5th last day of spring here and my aren't we having a storm!! SO much lightning and thunder....it's 35 degrees (95F) and 65% humidity!! Uggghhh....

Sashka is happily and stubbornly sitting on the front lawn, refusing to come in, Sunday is on the bed oblivious to it all (as usual...lol) and the doggies are very interestedly perched on the lounge watching it all out the window!

What brave babies I have!!

Max is away so I am going to give myself a nice foot bath, a pedicure, and watch `Hitch' on Fox....

My cats would be under the bed with all that thunder and lightening! They do not like storms!

No, Rigel, amazingly they were completely fine! Sashka was right out in the middle of the front lawn, happy and calm, and Sunday was asleep on the bed throughout the whole thing. Not fazed at all!!

When it thunders here one of my neighbor's dogs will howl the entire time!!! My cats don't seem to mind it however!!

It's funny, the thunder doesn't bother my two, but Trent gets very scared with strong winds. Poor baby.
Glad your critters aren't scared. It's so hard for them and us when they are. Our dog that we had when I was in high school was petrified of thunder. It got to the point where she would see dark clouds and hide and just shake uncontrollably when it did thunder.

Yes - our babies (Ruby especially) are terrified of wind. They don't like the rushing banging sound it makes, and of course when Ruby used to sleep out the back (bad, bad, mean nasty parents that we were!!) the door to the shed where she slept used to bang in the wind. Poor baby. As soon as we found that out she started sleeping inside where she belongs!!
