Hi all!
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Patti and I am a first time kitty mom. I've had a couple adult cats before but never a kitten. I'm excited and nervous. We've always fancied ourselves as "Dog people" but our daughter fell in love with cats so we thought, "Why not?" We just got a puppy a little over a month ago (Great Pyrenees/Lab mix), and he's 18 weeks, so we figured it'd be a good time to get a cat, so they could "grow up together".
Let's see, we're a homeschooling military family with three children of the human variety (praying for more). Our motto around here is "Faith, Family, Force", in a nutshell, the order of our loyalties: God, Family, military. We try our best to live as naturally as we can, just better for our bodies and our earth, IMO and try to care for our animals with the same convictions.
Anyway, that's about it for an intro. I'm looking forward to learning from you veteran feline Moms (and Dads) here. I've learned tons already! Thanks for making yourselves available!
