Hi everyone! I am Jen and my little girl's name is Gabby. She's a tortie, about 2 years old, indoor only (outside scares her), and like every other kitty out there- she's incredibly unique! I've had her since she was 10 weeks old, got her from a local pet store where I know the owner and have loved her every since... She started getting sick right after we got her spayed and it was one UTI after another... finally we found out from an emergency clinic in the middle of the night that she is diabetic so we've adjusted our lives to that. But she seems to be pretty happy and does okay with things. I look forward to chatting with all of you and I hope that we can help each other out with questions/concerns/venting/being cat-lovers!

I am sorry to hear that your little baby is diabetic but great to hear that she is doing well and is happy - thats the most important thing for our kitties isnt it? We would love to see some pictures of her

Hi, and welcome to TCS. I have a tortie foster kitty, named Sugartoes because although she is mostly dark, she has soft buff colored feet, like brown sugar! Glad you are here at TCS!
