Oh my gosh, I love this site. I joined last night, looking for info on the Stray and Feral Forum. There are so many great threads and lots of good people with big hearts here.
My husband and I have two cats, Clio our Siamese, Sam our part Siamese/part dog, and since yesterday morning a feral tabby without a name yet.
The tabby is very quiet and in isolation for ten days, long story, cat bite that could have been avoided if I had found this site first. Oh well, I am happy we successfully trapped her and got her out of the 24 degree nights here in New York State. It looks like a lot of work ahead, but with all the resources here I'm feeling a lot better about all of this.

My little (former) feral tabby Adelaide welcomes your feral tabby to the world of loving humans and reassures her that (after one year of love and cuddles) it's not so bad after all

Thank you for all your warm welcomes, this site is one big warm fuzzy.

Horatio here asked me to tell more about our cats. Here goes:
Clio, is our 8 year old sealpoint Siamese. She is the sweetest tempered girl and not overly vocal. We got her after we realized our son in college was not going to get bored with his Siamese and leave her with us after all.

Sam, is our 5 year old part Siamese. He picked us at a kennel/pet sanctuary when we picked up our other pets from a vacation. He is fearless, he goes right up to the door to see who is there when the bell rings. He also still kneads/suckles when going to sleep sometimes.

And finally, Prudence (Pru), the stray tabby we trapped 4 days. She is very afraid/scared, but I sense a gentleness in her. She is the reason I found my way here, I needed help, since I have never had a true stray/feral.

So that's our story. I love reading everyone else's stories and seeing pictures, I just feel good when I am on here.
