WTC "Beams of Light" Memorial

I don't know about the rest of you, but even as a teeny tiny picture on my monitor, I found it very moving.

I think the two beams of light are just phenomenal. I watched them on the news the night they were lit, and it was impossible to not be moved. I hope that they become part of the permanent memorial when it is built.

I work right across the river from ground zero (the last train stop on the NJ side before WTC). Last week when I was working late I looked out the window and I must say they were magnificent and a little eerie at the same time.
