It's an international scam - people here are receiving emails purportedly from the "Bundeskriminalamt" (German equivalent of the FBI). Don't open them!

They may come from the CIA too.

Bad grammar and poor punctuation should have been the first dead giveaway. The FBI doesn't use exclamation points.
Nor would they send you an email for visiting "illegal websites". They would make it a personal visit.

I've been getting these all week at work, from both the FBI and CIA. Well, not me specifically, but the general email account that gets everything not addressed to a valid email account. Some of the guys, especially the Owners, have been getting them as well.

Thank you VERY MUCH for the heads up! The last thing I need is a virus on my work computer!

That's a good idea. I believe all of virus companies have updated their definitions by now.

I will say that what we run at work (Symantec Corporate Version) took TWO DAYS before they updated their definitions while I was getting innundated with the emails. Between the FBI/CIA ones and another Sober Worm virus spree, I had gotten well over 100 of these before the virus protection caught it. Don't soley rely on the anti-virus programs.
Common sense is the best defense against these things.

Unfortunately, there's always a time lag. I have to say that I'm pleased with my virus protection - I always get a pop-up asking if I really want to open any email with an attachment, so I have to think before acting.
