I am a curious about Willow and how opposed he is to being sniffed!

Molly and Tibby like to sniff and smell everything including eachother, me and Willow. The problem is that Willow won't tolerate being sniffed!

I tried to sniff him and he tried to attack my face!? Which he will do to Tibby and Molly if they do the same (I hadn't realised that this was why until I tried!)

He doesn't seem to smell or sniff anything at all
Is it possible that he can't smell or is it something he might learn as he gets older?!

I feel that if he would tolerate Tibby and Molly sniffing him, things would be a lot better for all of them! I know that Tibby and Molly will feel a lot better if they were able to get used to his smell properly!

If anyone has any ideas about this, I'd love to hear them!

Overall, things are going pretty well - Molly is staying downstairs and eating in the kitchen with the boys! It is just the sniffing that we are having a bit of trouble with!

Or European, I sniff my cats too (but then I'm half UK). Nyan (when she is caught) smells like honey, it's lovely. Pity as soon as she sees me she runs away and hides...

I tried this with Max and Alie last night, and they were both fine! Obviously Willow just has an odd little quirk

I don't think it's the sniffing that they mind but the hot air of you exhaling on them. My cats react (each in their own way) everytime.

I have to confess I sniff Bijou and Mika and they seem to like it. Bijou will lift his head up high so I can sniff under his neck and chin, then he'll give my forehead a little lick.

It's just funny that he reacts the same way when Tibby and Molly sniff him - so I joined in to see if it was just them or sniffing in general!

Yosemite, Tibby and Molly like to be sniffed like Bijou too! I love it how you get a little lick afterwards!
