Well, quite a few of us have snow today, and as usual the driving is a nightmare! I had a dentist appointment this morning and gave myself an extra 15 minutes to get there, was still late. Lucky I arrived at all though. I was driving slowly down our very curvy street, and all of a sudden started skidding. And didn't stop ...... wheeeeee....... did a 180 slip sliding all over the road, ending up on the other side of the road, facing the other direction. Some young boys were walking to school, and I think I made the big excitement of their day! Sure got my heart beating a lot faster. Thank God there was no one coming!
So everybody, it happens every year and we should be used to winter driving by now, but it's still real easy to have an accident, so take care and drive slow!

Glad you are ok-both from the sliding in the car, and the dentist appt
. I have a different car from last year, so I'm sure there will be some sliding until I get used to it.

Oh bugger, I was hoping to see pictures of half naked muscular men here - that certainly would get my heart rate up - I am waiting for the half naked cops to appear in the windows across the street from work.

But seriously though, I am glad that you are okay! Stay safe and warm please!

I never did ask, whereabouts in kiwiland are you from?

Sorry to disappoint, no juicy pics here! You'll just have to keep eyeballing those cops.

I'm from good old Christchurch too! It's been a decade since I lived there though.
