well, it's actually an old mineshaft filled with freezing cold rain water, no sun reaches down there so it's always cold and it's really clean, there's no beach were i live and it's 40 degrees or more now so this is the next best thing, it's probably the nicest place out here and i'll miss it, here are some photos, there are goats and birds that sit right up the top and they dislodge rocks so you have to be a bit careful

nassa jumped in for a swim too, she tried to walk around the edge and made it quiet far before she had to turn back, she'd never been in deep water before but we were both in and she likes to be with us all the time, she started whining and jumped, the only bad thing was she kept swimming towards me, she has long arms and i ended up with over twenty huge scratches on my arm that looked like welts, now it's all bruised, next time i'm staying away from her lol

also, jeff ducked under and she got really worried about him, i had to stop her jumping in because she still tries to get too close to us and that can be dangerous in deep water.

it is nice, best of all it's very secluded and quiet, i am really going to miss it when we leave, we only have five and a half months to go.

it is very hard to see and it actually takes a while to even get there, we would never have known about it except a friend told us where it was, you pretty much can't even see it until your right on top of it, it's such an awesome place though

nope, it isn't scary, it's not that deep until you get to the middle, it probably was a lot deeper because of it being a mineshaft but i think it was filled with rocks, it is freezing though.

it looks funny because it's inside the earth, i think they were mining for gold there, there's a lot of fools gold around but i havn't found any of the real stuff yet

it is a different place but us Aussies were made tough
