Loud pawing at everything

My male cat has always had a habit of loudly pawing at the window blinds, the cat food when he doesn't like it, and everything surrounding the cat box after he finishes in there.

Twice in the last few weeks he has gotten outside. Now all he wants to do is go back outside. So he is constantly and very loudly pawing at everything in the house, but mainly the windows: curtains, blinds, screen, whatever he can get to. He seems obsessed with those windows and I don't dare open them at all.

I don't know what to do. He's driving me crazy.

Oh I know, thats what happens when I let my Peach out in the summer when my husband and I are on the porch.. She'll cry and cry and go by the door... I just didn't let her out for awhile and she stopped..

Plus, I put their window perches on the windows and she was happy..
