It was one year ago that you left us sweet Molly. Weâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ll never know what took you from us, but we knew we had to end your suffering. You let us know it was time. My heart has been aching and my tears have been flowing lately as this anniversary has drawn closer.

You showed up as a bedraggled stray at my parentâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s house. You were blocked in by a snowdrift and would have died if my mother hadn't dug you out. Aaron always wanted a calico cat, so we felt you were sent to us. You moved in with us a few months later when we bought our first home. You were the joy of our lives for the next 8 years. You went from a shy, skittish stray to a total lap cat.

Sometimes I feel guilty we brought a new little kitty into our life, but I do say to Aaron all the time that you are looking down laughing at us while she finds new little things to do to drive us crazy. We love our new little girl, but she will never take your place in our hearts.

With it being Thanksgiving, I just want you to know how thankful I am that you were part of our lives.

Molly was beautiful. God bless you as you remember all the good things. We sure do love our special fur babies and they each one leave their own mark on our lives. Rest in peace dear Molly. You will never be forgotten.

What a beautiful girl. I feel for your sense of loss. I hope your thanksgiving will be brighter as the years go by knowing that she felt the kind of love as you have shown in your words with this tribute. Rest in peace pretty girl.

Thinking of you and Molly today. I'm sure she was a very sweet girl, from what you speak of her. You are very lucky to have her be part of your life. She is in a much better place right now, peaceful, at rest and eternally happy. Doesn't get any better than that.

Karen,

I'm sorry I forgot that yesterday was Molly's anniversary.
You wrote a very special tribute to her. I'm certain that she is smiling down upon you

Thank you everyone! It really does mean a lot to have people who understand.
I took out Molly's things yesterday and all of the sympathy cards I received and had a good cry. Today is the actual year anniversary, but last year it was the day before Thanksgiving, so it was yesterday that I was feeling pretty bad.
