I live on the southern border of Michigan...it`s snowing and icing here. It`s supposed to be the snowest and windy/coldest Thanksgiving in over 30 yeras. They are calling for 8"-18". (Although those weather people do get overly excited sometimes.)
I do know that it is snowing , blowing and icing right now tho (6:00am) Our son who works 3rd shift about 30 minutes away just called and is locked out of his car. He called and hubby went to the rescure. Now i`m sitting here waiting for both of them to return before i can stop worrying and go back to bed.
Luckily we had our Thanksgiving last night...so we can turn off the phone and sleeeeeeep in as late as we want to!!!
I`m just praying that they will be back soon , safe and sound.

YAY!! It is snowing here, now! I'm so excited--how magical, and beautiful!
We're only supposed to get 1-2 inches, but at least that's something! I woke up this morning, and it was snowing then...ooh I
the snow...

...the cats aren't quite sure what to make of it, though. Precious (our youngest cat) just kept staring out the window. Yeah, they've seen it before, they're a few years old, but they are always so oddly awe-struck when it comes, like "oh, no! what to do now??" LOL its kinda cute.

Yes! It's snowing as I write and we are supposed to get 5 inches today. Not unusual for New England. I just wish I had my new snow tires!

We are ecpecting 15 cm of snow here in the Capital of Canada. It's been snowing since 5am and hasn't let up... driving is crazy, the main highway through the city is crawling and there are over 30 accidents on that one highway. Come on People we live in Canada learn how to drive!

We rarely get any snow here in the Dallas area, and never enough to make things pretty for very long. Some years ago, I was so melancholy about the lack of snow here that a dear, dear man I know in Indiana actually SHIPPED me some! Honest! He bought a big Thermos, filled it with snow from his hometown, wrapped it in bubble wrap and foil, put it inside an insulated cooler, wrapped the whole thing in bubble wrap, boxed it, and overnighted it to me via FedEx!

It was the most wonderful surprise. I opened the Thermos and tipped it up, and snow spilled down all around me! My friend was on the phone with me, and we sang "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow," and then he had me go get some cranberry juice from the fridge so I could make myself a snow-slushy with the last of the snow.

It was the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me. ~ s i g h ~

I didn't want to leave the house this morning because of all the people who forget how to drive once they see the first snow of the season!

Toronto is the worst place to be when the snow hits the streets.

Absolutely! There were over 100 accidents this morning. Thank heaven for the subway!
