Should I be worried that I keep finding my cat's nails on the floor?

Every two or so weeks, I find what looks like a cat claw somewhere on the carpet. She's not seeming to exhibit any signs of distress or anything, so I don't know if this is a natural thing for a cat, or I should take her to a vet or something. Any insight would be appreciated!

What you're finding is the claw sheaths, which your cat will remove by scratching or biting. It's perfectly normal to be finding them around the house.

Yah cats claws grow differently than our nails. They are layered and they eventually shed the outer layer, or peices of it. If you have a scratching post you will probably find a bunch around it. Its normal.

Yup, just sheddings from your cat's claws, not the actual nail.... for all you soft paw users, thats how they fall off about every month! If you look at the cap before you toss it, you'll see the nail layers inside!

Having 11 indoor fur babies, I find nails and whiskers on my hardwood floors all the time! Those nails grow out QUICK. I do NOT believe in de-clawing, so I give my cats a "manicure" every 2 weeks and those nails grow LONG, SHARP and QUICKLY!!
