Good vibes/prayer for a tireless cat person

Hey guys,
Just wanted to ask for some good vibes and prayers for Millie, the coordinator of the little TNR/rescue group I volunteer with. She's responding to the recent request from Alley Cat Allies for help trapping in New Orleans and is leaving right after Thanksgiving for a week. She's loading up her truck with supplies and plans to make the trip in one day, if possible. Millie is also hoping to return with some cats/kittens for us to place for adoption. Please send good vibes and pray that she has a safe trip. Millie is a great lady and tireless advocate for feral and stray cats in our area. Thanks!

I finally had a message from Millie that she made it safely to Alley Cat Allies base camp. She described the situation there as "interesting."

Anyway, she's arranged to bring back two FeLV+ cats - both young adults, a solid black female and and orange male, which she'll probably just keep herself (she already has several special needs cats). She's also hoping to return home with some feral kittens and/or a couple of pregnant cats. Millie's due back late Sat. night, so I'll probably go over Sun. to meet the new additions. I'm definitely interested in hearing about her experiences there.

Just wanted to let everyone know Millie and six Katrina kitties arrived safely home late Sat. night. She said the cats, all older kittens, are pretty traumatized. That's all I know for now, but am going over to see the new additions tonight. Thanks for all the prayers and good vibes!

Poor little babies. I hope they can find forever homes soon.
