I really hope she gets a good home! She is a tortie, but very sweet, with very little "tortitude". She gets along great with my 2 cats, but I think she would do well alone, too. She is used to kids and dogs.

All she wants is someone who cooks, and shares little treats now and then. And someone lonely would be nice, because although she doesn't jump up on your lap, she is always nearby. She is a talker, and will mew at you in the morning, as she rubs around your legs. Just a very sweet cat. If you know of anyone in the NW Chicago area in need of a good cat, let me know! LOL!

She reminds me a lot physically of a cat my family had when I was young. I do actually live close by. But unfortunately I am not in a position to take in another cat at the moment. I'll have to ask some of the cat lovers that I know.

Not at all. I would gladly come to Chicago to find her a good loving home, which I'm sure you would be. She gets along fine with my other babies, but is not cuddly with them and doesn't play with them too much. So if you are looking for a real companion for your kitty, I don't know if she is right. But as a companion for a person, she is such a lovely cat. And like I said, they all get along just fine.

I do think she took over as alpha-she eats first, etc. But mine don't seem to care at all. I just think as a momma (3 litters), she is used to telling others what to do! LOL!

Yeah, Leo is really mellow and submits to alphas, but I don't know. All I've ever heard about alphas is that they should be alone. At any rate, I also don't know when it will be Lola's time. We caught this really quick, so she might have a good few months left. Or not. It really all depends on what this hideous disease decides to do to my poor little baby.

I'll keep Sugartoes in my thoughts when I am ready to look for a new baby, though!
