What are you thankful for....

I'm thankful for being where I am, and who I am. I'm thankful for all the support and love I've been given from each and every one of you, for my mother and my little brother, who incidentally, I don't know where I would be without. I'm thankful for the love of my life being so caring and understanding of what I've had to go through to get to where I am today and I'm thankful for the time he's spent just to make me a whole and happier person. I'm thankful for every day I have - good or bad - because they prove that I'm still alive. I'm thankful for my son, whom I miss with my every waking moment and dream of every night. I'm thankful for everyone who crosses my path, because in some way, no matter how small, they are and have been a part of my life, and made it a little better. Even the moped driver who knocked me off my bicycle this evening.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, but I do have a lot to be thankful for....

...I am thankful for my wonderful boyfriend and loving family (even though they are further away than I'd like). I am thankful for the wonderful life that we lead here in Switzerland and for the good health that we enjoy.

And even though I lost her this year, I'm thankful that I had Charley in my life for so long and that I was able to find a wonderful place like TCS to help me through that.

Although some of my family are in poor health, I am thankful we are all still here. With all the tragedies going on in the world right now, natural disasters and man-made problems, I think we all need to stop for a moment and give thanks for what we have.

I am most thankful for my wonderful and loving husband

I am thankful that Tybalt and I and our kitties made it safely from PA to CO last month, that we have such an awesome new place to live, and that I have a new job!

My health, a good job, the love and affection i get from Rosie and Sophie, my friends both on and offline, and the new man who's come into my life Gil

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in England but i wanted to join in with this thread at it is such a lovely thread. I'm thankful for my children, my cats, my wonderful fiance, my family and friends, my health, my beautiful home and the beautiful things that mother nature provides.

That there is always a silver lining to the clouds that pass through our (dh's and mine) lives. I am really learning to look for them when things go wrong

I posted this in my LiveJournal last night. Among many other things I'm grateful for, these random things were on my mind at the time:

• That no one was injured when a truck rear-ended up parents tonight (Happy Thanksgiving; ruined their plans for the weekend and my dad's without a car due to an accident - again.)
• My great-aunt's cancer has gone into remission (recurrence a 30-50% chance, but no more chemo for now!)
• My grandparents have email, and were willing to learn how to use it in their mid-80's
• A great husband and loving families
• Great friends, both near and far (looking forward to seeing a lot of them this weekend!)
• A good job
• Good health
• Happy kitties
• Fridge full of food ready to be eaten tomorrow!

I am very thankful for my loving husband, 4 healthy children, and many furkids. I am thankful that my Dad is healthy. I am thankful for my job, with my two great office-mates and wonderful boss. I am thankful for my church family.

I am also thankful that I live in the USA. I know we have many members from all over the world at TCS, and I do understand that each country has good and bad, but with all its ups and downs, political games, overindulgence...I am thankful to be here.

And I am very thankful for TCS, and the friends I have found here. Also the great advice to help me be a better meowmie! I am thankful that the ladies who started this site were so wise, and the current mods help keep it a safe place to share. And I am thankful that XOCats started this thread. (Thanks, Lei!) It is very heartwarming.
