Our little Bear is gone....

My heart is broken and I am so sad we just had to make the choice today to put our sick little bear (manx) down. He had a gr3/4 heart murmur and was suffering from constipation and probable intestinal blockage, we seen three vets and they didnt recommend that we even do surgery b/c his chances of making it would be slim. He seemed to be getting worse even with medication. He started to throw up and scream in pain when trying to deficate. I feel like the worse person right now, my 9yr old came with me to the vet and after it was done we brought his body home for burial, my husband built him a box and cross and we got to say our own personal good byes...you have no idea how much I miss him right now. He was only 8weeks old and for some reason we got so attached...

I really miss the little guy and just want this day to be over...

I'm so sorry to hear about Little Bear. I have been following his story and at least you know you did everything possible for him. to all your family.

dont feel awful - you certainly did all you could for Bear, and in the end you Bear above all else and helped him pass over peacefully.
