most forum type places i have gone to totaly ignore these "new member" posts but I may as well drop one because i come to these forums with a specific goal.
I grew up with a large very smart cat that had the interesting traits of never liming trees and going out of his way to fight dogs. (there was some wild blood in this cat I guess)
that was many years ago and lately i have been finding a yerning for a new cat companion. I currently live and work in korea so I started looking up differnt kinds of cats and a few specific traits have cought my eye and I am looking for a cat with these traits so that i can try and get one next time I come to the states to live or visit.
specificly i have been reading about savvana cats (serval/domestic mix) and Turkish Vans. the traits that interest me the most are their inteligence; they learn games like fetch, affection; people oriented enough to stick with their owner on walks or relaxing outside, and since i like to swim and go fishing I would like a cat that enjoys such activity also.
mostly i am here to learn about how and where i can get one of these breeds or a differnt breed with similar traits (if any other exist) and also simply because i like cats and have been lurking for a bit and love the tales that some of you spin.
