This was the only really cool thing that happened in the news that day:
Sep 17 - Begin, Sadat & Carter sign the Camp David accord
The music was just bad, with the end of disco upon us. lol
It was also the last time we had a decent human being in the White House...Jimmy Carter. Bless him, he is such a good man...and tried so hard at the presidency. I think his goodness as a human being was his downfall as president. How sad is that....

The things that strike me most are that bread was only 14 cents a loaf , a stamp was 3 cents and gas was 20some cents a gallon! (WOW! Where have those days gone?)
