Hello,
My name is Zack and recently my girlfriends cat has been acting diffrently.
I thought, it was/ may possibly be, a tract infection or urine infection.
The cat drools excessively,[Every second as a matter of fact][and it's gums and teeth are okay from what i hear]It also, Has a meowing problem, and urinates everywhere! It also randomly spazzs out, and will one minute stand still like a statue. And the next freak out and run everywhere!

They have taken it to the vet, on a few occasions and the vet says nothing and just gives them meds. They are abiding by the times and rules of the medication and still no indication of the process helping.

They have 3 other cats. These cats are outdoor, and i don't think it was any
pesticides or herbicides, and it wasn't a poisonus frog, beacuse the process has been going on for a week or two.And none of the other cats have this problem.....[ponder, ponder, ponder]

The cat is only 5 years old, is a female, and is indoor and neutered/spayed. We thought so many things, but can't find an awsner.
It's a worry beacuse i feel it's a sign of old aging/death. And my girlfriend loves this cat, and i'll do anything to try and help it.

Someone please be our saving grace and HELP US!!!! and let us know what's wrong!

it'd be very much appreciated.
thank you so much for your time.

Zack Mitchell and Jessika Weinman.

I agree that this behaviour does not sound normal at all. What do you mean when you say "the vet says nothing and just gives meds" ? has the vet done any tests or blood work or anything at all? If the vet literally says nothing then I absolutely would not hesitate in seeing a different vet.

GOOD LUCK!!

Well, they have been to the vet. 3 diffrent times for the same cat.
The vet. just gave them a certian antibiotic. But, never really diagnosed the cat with anything.

They tested it for rabies, and other things im sure blood was drawn. But the vet gave them a bottle of something and she takes it orally.

But it hasn't helped at all.

1) Definitely get a different vet!
2) I grew up in Vero Beach--but now live in Chicago--so I'm very familiar with Fort Pierce! Hope you're enjoying the warmth cuz it is FREEZING here!

Yes, it's absolutely time to find a better vet! And I'd do it right NOW... the kitty has been sick for too long already.

I would also check around the house to see if there's any kind of chemical the cat could have gotten into -- radiator coolant on the garage floor, drips or puddles of cleaning products under the sink, pesticide of any kind? If the kitty goes outdoors, check out there, too.

But a new vet is the answer!

I agree.

As for pesticides and whatnot, I'll have her mom and dad check and I'll even do it myself on what we can do. You guys have been alot of help. thank you all so much.

Definitely time for a new vet. Could it be an allergy to flea medication? My sister-in-law's cat was drooling as a result of a flea med allergy.
