Always a real tree from my mom's and her fiancee's land. We get it a couple of days before Chistmas and decorate it in the morning of the 24th. No fake can replace the real thing.

We broke down and bought an artificial tree two Christmases ago. It's only about 3 feet high, but it's enough. We previously bought ones in pots, and used them for two or three years, till they got too big, and had to be planted outside. We'd only keep the trees inside for a week, and then put them out in the yard. We quite simply ran out of room for former Christmas trees, and too many of them died after being planted.

I didn't vote because we have two trees, a real tree upstairs, covered in gold and silver decorations with white lights, and a fake tree down here in the play room, with tons of different decorations and colored lights.

We don't celebrate the religious aspects of Christmas, just the commercial side for us. I don't really do the whole Christmas thing, but I love decorated pine trees!

We had a real one last year and want a real one again this year.

Oh well, you'll have to write in your replys...unless one of our extremely wonderful mods fixes it for me!
Diane, don't forget that you can make a thread into a poll after it has been submitted, as long as you're the original poster. Next time that happens, just go to the top of the thread and click the thread tools.

I use a fake tree. It's much more convenient then dragging a real tree in and out of the house.

I live in an apartment so we have to have a fake one. I LOVE our tree though so it doesn't bother me. I hate the smell of real ones anyways

A fake, but I've always wanted to try a real one. I love that pine scent. I have heard its a bit tricky to put the angel or star on the top of a real one, though.

No tree last year because we had a kitten, no tree this year because we've got another kitten.

FIVE.

It's true.
This is like my parents house! (Where I still go for Christmas holidays, since the college town I live in empties out around the holidays). We have the main one in the living room, a baby one in the kitchen and each bathroom (4 total), one in each bedroom (mine, my sis, my parents), one in the spare room, and one in my dad's "hunting/fishing" room. So thats, lets see, 11 trees total! Its crazy to put up and take down, but the house looks beautiful during the holidays!

I always have a small artifical tree on the table, which is really enough for me to enjoy the lights of Christmas this time of year.
I do love the big/tall floor model trees, but even at thirteen years old I would never trust Sash with it, he's notorious for trying to eat artifical stuff I have, including trees!

The tree in the house, and the one on the front porch and the little one in the barn window are all fake...but the one in the gazebo is REAL!
