Did you check to see if everything was ok in your options and profile?

I can't see your signature in this post, but I can see it in all your other posts.

You probably unchecked the 'Show your signature' box by mistake

I see your signature now. Are you still having trouble with smilies?

OK, in the options check out the Thread Display Options and make sure all of the "visible post elements" are checked... Nevermind about your profile, I thought that had different stuff listed.

yes... when I reply I noticed below in the additional options the smily box is un checked. I checked it and still it goes back to un-checked.

Checking the smilie box when you post disables the smilies. Do you not have the few smilies available to the right of the text window when you make a post?

Or are you missing the extra smilies that come up when you click 'More'?

In your User CP:

1. Choose Edit Options
2. Scroll to the bottom and look for Miscellaneous Options
3. Look for Message Editor Interface
4. You have changed your setting to Basic Editor, which shows you no options for smilies. You need to use the drop down menu to change it to one of the other options. Sounds like you've been doing quite a bit of adjusting in your User CP lately!

Deb - I have found a few things have changed in my User CP lately - but I havent changed anything. I assumed things were reset from your end. Obviously not?

Yes, I'm having the same issues. Today my signature was totally wiped out and I had to re-do it. I still have no smilies or eomitcons, but 'll go back and do all the above steps again and re-boot my laptop after saving.

update: I guess it worked, thanks!
