After seeing that pretty girl a week ago, she hasn't shown her face. The last time I saw her was Thursday, the 10th. I do think that she is eating the food I'm putting out, but it is hard to tell with Percy and Cassie out there, as well as numerous raccoons and critters, probably. Still, Percy and Cassie come up to eat at pretty regular times, which means they may be getting their fill without eating the extra food I put out for her.

Any advice on how I can find out if she is still out there? I really wanted to gain her trust and get her spayed. She let me get so close to her, then just turned and walked off, ignoring me. I'm not sure trapping her is an option, since I'd probably end up trapping silly Percy or Cassie in the process.

I'm sure that someone dumped this little girl. The poor thing must be scared to death, and I really want to help.

Can you take Percy or Cassie indoors or find a way to have them eat prior to setting up the trap...or you can simply set up 3 traps....so that hopefully one of them would trap the calico.

You could try checking out the tracks by the food dish, maybe sprinkle flour on the ground to get a better "read". I take Joey & JC for daily walks, and am familiar with their tracks - JC's are large & circular, like a bobcat's, while Joey has pointed feet, more like a Siamese. My kittens' tracks are similar to each others', round like JC's but smaller. Hopefully, Percy & Cassie's tracks are also distinctive. Good luck & please keep us posted!
