I made a new friend today!

She is a cute little gray tabby girl. She was in the parking lot today when I left for lunch. I talked to her for a few minutes, then she came up and let me pet her. I think she lives in the nearby apartments, she realy does not look homeless. I am going to keep an eye on her, and if it looks like she IS homeless, I may relocate her to my neighborhood. It is a quiet street with no traffic, and there is a great place that an outside kitty can live attatched to my house. I can't take her in, but I can feed her and keep her safe.

Oh how cute! I hope that if she is homeless (which I really hope she isn't!) that you can relocate her to your neighborhood, that way you can always keep an eye on her, I bet she was so precious!!

I saw her again today, and this time she had a lovely red tabby with her. I put down some food, but they walked away. I came back out a few minutes later and the red one was eating. We left for lunch a little while later, and almost exactly half of the food was gone, and the gray girl was walking toward it to eat. She meowed a greeting and ate the rest of the food. The red one is shy, but the gray is very friendly. They both appear to be in good condition, so if they are homeless, they have not been for long. I will enjoy my new friends, and hope they live in ones of the houses behind the salon. If they start to look poorly, I will relocate both of them to my yard.
