Haven't seen a daily thread for quite a while. Whats everyone up to today?
I have been making feral cat shelters today, getting supplies, straw from the feed store, putting them together and this evening will be putting them in place. Hopefully they wont be thrown away or taken. I already put 2 out and so far they are still there. I zip tied them to a tree, so that makes it a little harder to take. All my shelters from last year were thrown out by landscapers that cut back bushes from where they were last year. Its getting cold and the cats need some protection from the cold. I'm moving soon, luckily I had help and my friend will still provide food and water for them everyday, I'm buying tons of food to leave with her for them. She actually was feeding them before me so she will be here to feed them thank goodness.
I start packing up the house this weekend also, I dread it. I have thrown so much stuff out already, more this weekend. We have lived here for a little over 10 years and accumulated so much.
Hope everyone has a great Friday!

I am cleaning for Thanksgiving! I cleaned my upstairs, and now I have started cleaning my upholstery. Unfortunately, I have just managed to cut through the plastic of the electrical cord of the machine
, so I have to wait for my husband to come home and check it out. I'll do some laundry now or something like that. I have also been looking through some jewelry catalogs to do some Christmas shopping. I will start making dinner in a few hours.

The best news of the day is that my sister-in-law had good results on her catscan

I've had a horrible day,we woke up this morning to half of our kitchen ceiling on the floor and water everywhere. Our heating boiler had sprung a leak, soaked the carpet upstairs, and gone throught the ceiling downstairs. We've have had boiller people, insurance people and we already have a builder puting in a new bathroom and the cats are freaking out at all the strange men in the house

Aw, Eva, you're such a good mom! I'm gonna be freezing MY tush off tomorrow at 7 when we have to go saddle horses in the snow. So I know how it goes. My day? Work, a banquet in the evening. Blah. My daughter's having like 9 girls over for her birthday tomorrow night. (do they make a smiley that bites its nails?)
(here, this will have to do.)

Well it's Saturday afternoon here!

I got up at 6ish to make a bathroom trip and check all my sweeties then I went back to bed and slept until 9, then I made a phone call to my Nana and we talked for about half an hour.

Got up, spent an hour or two doing the cat chores. Scrubbing out the cat room, feeding "baby" and dismantling Sophie's cage (she reabsorped her bubbies)

Then I have been studying for awhile on the Black Civil Rights Movement. I had some delicious ham and cheese rolls for lunch along with a nice fresh orange juice.

Now I'm relaxing some on TCS before I do some more studying - OOPS forgot to add as of right now along with browsing I'm tidying my room!

Tonight I'm going around to Nanas for dinner!

Well I worked on two christmas presents for most of the day-they are "fall themed" pillows (everyone has so much christmas stuff) But believe it so not I do not have enough brown felt so tomorrow I'll buy some. Also spent time looking for some beading thread I just bought on Tuesday. Retraced my steps can't find it so I know when I buy more I'll find it!!
Tomorrow we have to start bringing in firewood for the winter. Its such a messy task and I get hot doing it. We won't get it all done tomorrow hopefully about 1/3 and do more on Sunday. Go to friends "craft sale". Try to finish up those pillows. Not much else so far.

Painting my kitchen. I hate to paint. But it needed it. I finished the painting Friday. And today I am going to put the wall paper Border up. Then I'm going to wash down all the cupboards and rub them down with some Liquid Gold.
But on second thought I might just go back to bed and sleep. I got up at 4:30 this am as my town has a early bird sale at all the shops. So I got up to take advantage of the great sales.40% off in most stores between 4.00am to 5:00. I got some great cat toys for my cats. A Siamese cat calender and A Siamese key chain at the Paws and Claws shop. And bought my last item for my secret santa person.
