This week has been really loooong. We have had two ice storms in the past seven days, and both times we got snow on top of the ice. Like yesterday for example, there's nothing like having it just pour freezing rain all day long and then start snowing. YUCK!!! My son and his friends have been going out and driving around in really dangerous weather conditions, and that doesn't help anything either. Last night they were out driving around watching the power lines fall down and hit trees! There's always a lot of sparks whenever that happens!
If anyone wants some snow, they are more than welcome to my share!!!!

Sounds yucky! Tell your son to be careful, that is some dangerous stuff it seems!

Just think, spring is on the way! Its almost Easter, and that is a sure sign that the snow will be history!

Yesterday, it began with the sun coming out. Then it snowed for a half an hour, Then it stopped, Half an hour later it snowed again. Can't the weather make up its mind? Actually I am glad for the snow and rain. For the past few years we've had little rainfall and snow. We were in a drought. Also, Utah is mostly desert. We need all the rain and snow so that this year the water will be normal. I am hoping it won't get too hot this summer!

Brace yourselves! El Nino is coming back next year.

Colorado has been really dry for the past few years, too. Not officially bad enough for a drought, but it has been pretty bad. As much as I don't like driving in it, I really hope that we do get a huge snowstorm this spring. We really need it. So, Lorie, send some of that snow down our way - but you can keep the freezing rain! Yuck!
