What a pretty dress!!Originally Posted by ugaimes
Well, my maid and matron of honor both stayed with me this weekend (we had a BLAST) and...drumroll please...we found my dress on Saturday! http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_g...&prodgroup=127 I didn't want to take the dress off! I started crying as soon as I tried it on; that's how I knew it was The One. We bought it right away (veil, too!).
If anyone's interested, I can post an actual picture of me in the dress (veil and all).
Funny as it sounds...my husband was the "wedding planner" I just sat back and relaxedOriginally Posted by Sims2fan
Do any of you girl have wedding planners? I was thinking about getting one, I have never been one to deal well with stress.
Thank you!!, I still have yet to try the dress on so we'll see if I still like it when I try it on. But I'm scheduled to do that on Feb 1...I can hardley wait!!. I'm sure I'll be like Amy and know if it's the one for me when I put it onOriginally Posted by Phenomsmom

Haha thats not going to happen in my case, although he is in charge of music! My family are the type hat reallly stress you out instead of being helpful (I love them to bits)! If I had a wedding planner maybe I could say "talk to her/him about it"!Originally Posted by Alaynna

LOL That is what I said when people asked me about the wedding, I said "talk to jason (my husband)" But he is the kinda of person who loves to make plans and he is really good with bargaining on prices.Originally Posted by Sims2fan

Well, I bought it at David's, but they didn't ring the bellOriginally Posted by Alaynna
You look very pretty in the dress!!! Did they ring the bell when you put it on!!! (if you got it from david's bridal)
Karen, thanks so much. My Mom and I just had a "talk" on Sunday. She started off with "since you don't want me there... "I had to explain that there were two Moms involved, arrangements would be tough due to everyone's finances, blah blah blah, blah blah blah. Of course, we were both crying. The major thing I wanted to avoid is hurting my family's feelings. Well, too late now. I've always been the rebellious one anyway.Originally Posted by AbbysMom
It took me a while to catch up with this thread. You all have some really neat ideas and plans!
Amy you look GORGEOUS in your dress!
Renee, if you want to elope, ELOPE! I was such a wreck by the time my wedding day came, I wished we had eloped.
