If anyone's interested, I can post an actual picture of me in the dress (veil and all)

Funny as it sounds...my husband was the "wedding planner" I just sat back and relaxed

Haha thats not going to happen in my case, although he is in charge of music! My family are the type hat reallly stress you out instead of being helpful (I love them to bits)! If I had a wedding planner maybe I could say "talk to her/him about it"!

LOL That is what I said when people asked me about the wedding, I said "talk to jason (my husband)" But he is the kinda of person who loves to make plans and he is really good with bargaining on prices.

*sigh* I'm so happy for all of you and so jealous too! I wish I was planning my wedding... but the s/o and I decided to wait until May to actually start planning.

But keeping up with this thread is a good hold over for me! *laugh*

Amy, you look GORGEOUS in your wedding gown!!!

Thanks for letting us have a peek!! Now...we have to make sure Bradley doesn't see it here.

I know just what you mean about knowing it was the one. That's just how I knew, too. I had tried on about 10 dresses, and hadn't liked any of them. My mother brought me one more to try. I put it on and came out. She burst into tears, and when I saw myself in the mirror I did, too.

It took me a while to catch up with this thread. You all have some really neat ideas and plans!

Amy you look GORGEOUS in your dress!

Renee, if you want to elope, ELOPE! I was such a wreck by the time my wedding day came, I wished we had eloped.

Karen, thanks so much. My Mom and I just had a "talk" on Sunday. She started off with "since you don't want me there... "I had to explain that there were two Moms involved, arrangements would be tough due to everyone's finances, blah blah blah, blah blah blah. Of course, we were both crying. The major thing I wanted to avoid is hurting my family's feelings. Well, too late now. I've always been the rebellious one anyway.
She said she understood at the end of the conversation.

On a happier note, (and this stays at TCS, ok - promise y'all won't tell anyone) we are seriously thinking of eloping in the woods at a place called The Enchanted Forest. I think it would be soooo romantic to have a secret wedding in the Enchanted Forest.
