Riley's nose changes shades.

Early in the morning, Riley's nose is almost white, it is so pale, but throughout the day it gets pinker until it's his normal color. How come his nose changes color?

I do not know but my cat Merlot's nose is the same way.
I think it has to do with body temperature but that is just my guess.
A lot of times I have noticed that when her nose is pale, almost white, her ears are cold. When she is sleeping and warm and curled up in the wool blanket, her nose is dark pink and her ears are warm.

I think Jen is exactly right... my Clydie's cute little nose changes shades the very same way. :-)

O how cute. I wish Bears nose did that.....

Two of mine are like that too, and with Bumps his nose is always paler when he is cold!
