Hi again everyone

My poor little Murphy's eye is getting goopy again. I called the vet, I figured they would want to see him, but the receptionist put the doc on the phone he asked a couple questions : is he eating, pottying ok, etc.... and asked if I had any leftover eye ointment I told him yeah a little, he said I could come pick up another tube this evening. He was very understanding, and reassured me that everything will be ok, Murphy is a youngen, so he is more prone to re-infection and it is a viral thing and they sometimes can linger around airborne. I absolutley love them!!!!
Not that I would have minded bringing him in, but its is frigid here in st.louis right now and car rides are always stressfull for my babies. I am so glad my vet is understanding and truley cares about the well being of my furbabies! I have had vets in the past, and they always wanted you to bring them in with whatever the problem may be so they could get the office visit $. They also had no compassion for animals they were like machines or something no emotions what so ever. I just had to tell you guys how wonderfull they are it is soo hard to find a vet you trust I finally did. Thanks for listening

Mine too...especially if they have already seen the cat and it just needs more meds for a longer time.

I am really lucky. Even though i live out in the country our vet is right at the end ouf our road. Too bad everyone isnt so lucky. the only bad thing is he is a little pricier than the vets in town.

Yeah good vets areGREAT!!!! I mean if the kitty is not feeling well and it is a pre-existing problem, why drag them out in the cold, heat, rain etc... I have had several that insisted on seeing them every single time. Hooray to the good vets!!!!

We actually got so lucky with our vet. He takes us during afterhours. The funny thing is during our visit for the first symptom of URI in July he cured our little ones. We ment to call him and thank him, but my hubby was looking for a job. I was working full time. The time just flew. Well 4 months later they got sick. I took them in. The doctor was so disapointed with us. He said that we were bad people that we didn't call and let him know that our babies were doing better. He said he was telling his wife for all the 4 months "How could they not call me and let me know if the kitties were filling better". He's so funny. We love our vet!!!!!!!!!
