Hi everyone.

For the past few days, my cat has been a little bit under the weather. I think he might have a cold (or allergy as in Australia we are in Spring). He seems to be sneezing every now and again, and he has increased purring (does that mean more mucus thus there must be an infection?). I seem to have a virus too, and I am starting to wonder if he is giving me viruses.

Is viral transmission between cats and humans normal?

Just because I can, here is a picture of my loverly cat Giggio :p

Not normally thought there are a few that are known to have inter species transmission... You wont catch an allergy

Your kitty is so cute!

I would think it is more likely you both just coincidentally had a virus, viruses *usually* are pretty specific when they become infectious.
