Need ideas fast!!

OK I'm having to make this short and sweet cuz my friend is on her way here. Everytime I go over to my friend's house all we do is play video games and well that makes me feel bad because I feel like the only reason I'm her friend is so that I can play the video game..so do you guys have any ideas of something to do that doesn't include video games? We can't go outside today..it's raining.

Old fashioned board games are lots of fun. Do you have a Monopoly or Risk game, or even Chess? You get more of a chance to talk than with video games.

I love old board games!

Do you have photos that you could put together in a fun book or scrapbook or something like that? In the winter I scrapbook so much!

my friend and i always cook or craft. she does a fashion design course and i love to make jewllery so we just have crafting parties when we are bored. baking cookies is also always fun!

I know, I always bake when I'm bored too! Plus when you're bored, you can come up with lots of fun interesting combos to come up with!!

When I'm bored I play my guitar

..or write..

..or draw..

I'm idealess, unless you go to a movie. It's freezing rain here, so I ain't going far from home and work

Why dont you catch up with a movie?

You can play the guitar and try teaching her if she is interested.
Make coffee and some sandwiches together.
Play with the kitties.
Play cards.
If nothing just chat casually.
if nothing works, introduce her to the TCS forum...

we are experimenting with thai food right now. made some delicious pad thai last night mmmmmmm

or once when we were really bored we bought potting soil and seeds and tried to grow herb gardens. my friends came out so well but mine got eaten by our new puppy! lol i was so jealous of hers!
