I swear, Simba couldn't be more funny if he tried.

I wish I could get a picture of this, but it's impossible, since I'm a part of his little game. Simba loves to play fetch, especially with his little crinkle balls (it's so funny that the cheapest toy I could buy, is the one's he has the most fun with). Anyway, Simba is getting more and more like a dog, every day. He isn't satisfied to just fetch the ball and bring it to me. Now, he likes to leap in the air and catch it before it lands. Sometimes he flips his body into some odd contortions in order to do so, but he's really getting good at catching that ball, mid air. Another thing that's so funny about this is that he gets in a sort of prey mode, as I'm crinkling the ball and getting ready to throw. He jumps in the chair, crouches down with his big nocturnal eyes as large as saucers, and waits. As I throw the ball, he springs in the air and grabs it in his two front paws, then runs to me with it in his mouth, just as proud as a peacock. I wish you could see this. It's so funny and so cute to watch him.

AWWW! That sounds soooo cute, just with the description! And no wonder he's so proud - in his mind he IS catching a peacock (or is it a quail, hawk or crow??)
BTW, Simba does sound so active & intelligent, too (look at the way he communicated to you that he wanted variations in the fetch game), I am hoping that he gets another Bengal sibling very soon!!

Yes, he's really intelligent. He just a marvel to me at times. He is definately alpha cat here as well, but he's so happy go lucky. I've never seen him mad in the two years, I've had him.

His ears aren't flat back on his head when he plays, they are perched forward. I think he knows it's a toy, and not real prey, because sometimes I'll say, Simba "Go get your toy", and he's off to fetch and bring it to me, so we can play fetch.

Sometimes when I'm on the computer and into my "own" thing, Simba will bring that ball over, drop it at my feet and wait a few seconds, if I ignore him, he will bat it around and make a little noise with it, if I still ignore him, he will jump up and grab at my arm, until I stop what I'm doing and play with him.

Wow, maybe Simba & Cupid are related...distantly.
Cupid does the same exact thing. I recently moved stuff around in his room, and now he doesn't seem to bring me things for fetch as much.

Yeah, Tibby does that too! It's great to watch and I know what you mean about wanting to get pictures or video!!

Does Simba also go and find toys - that he lost months ago - and bring them to you to show what he found! Tibby has too good of a memory sometimes!

Awww Simba, what fun you have. Tolly does that too - he just hasn't mastered the taking the ball back to mummy trick yet - so I end up scooting across the floor on my knees to get it back

Sounds like Pixel, in her 'fetch' mode! you're right, it's very entertaining!
