...miss your kitties more than you miss your spouse, significant other, family members, etc???

I'm in India for this week and leaving early next week, but each night I talk to my boyfriend, he puts me on speaker so I can say good night to my kitties. I miss them so much, it's going to make me so happy to see them when I get home!

Am I a dork or do you feel the same?

Nawww..

I didn't go out at night or sped a night at a friends in 3 years.. because I didn't want to leave my dog.. but this year I finally submitted and went out.. I missed them so much
I didn't even sleep because I was wondering if the kitties and my dog were alright.

But then again.. I have no life.

Oh, yes!! I do miss my kitties so much when I am gone. I have been travelling alot this year, and that is probably the worst part about travelling so much, otherwise, I love to be on the go!

Absolutely! I think it's only natural. Your boyfriend can take care of him self, but a kitty is so innocent and vulnerable! I can't even imagine going on vacation and leaving him...but I'll have to eventually. Luckily, my roommate is somewhat competant enough, but if we had to go somewhere together, I think I'd lose my mind.

No you are not a dork ! LOL!!! I could care less how the humans are(not that I dont love them, but just the fact that I know they know I am ok) I think the cats feel like I abandoned them or something- and you miss them so much because you cannot talk to them like you can your bf etc... So no you are not a DORK! I feel exactly the same way, unless we are both dorks!!! LOL LOL LOL LOL!

There was this time when my parents were gone for a whole week and my aunt let me sleepover at her place for one night.

That was the first night Joey was left by himself at home for a whole night..I actually cried because I was so worried about him and had trouble sleeping that whole night.

I think that is exactly how I am feeling right now. Cassie had a URI and Napoleon had some tummy issues before I left, so I felt like I left them at their most vulnerable, plus we just moved a few days prior so their worlds are rocked and then I leave for two weeks.

BF says they sleep with him each night on my side of the bed and during the day when he's home, they act up so they can get his attention. He swears it's because they miss me
It's not like he can tell them, she'll be back next week. I just don't want them to think I've abandoned them

Oh my goodness!
I would probably do that too...BF puts me on the phone with them each night...he has me on speaker and I call them their nicknames and give kisses and call them my babies...they sniff the phone or Cassie starts rolling around on the floor like Madonna (that's her "sexy cat" cue, which means she's happy).

Only cat lovers know what you mean when you say, I leave messages for my cats when they are away!
