My cat Spook, was with me in the bathroom and he had been sitting on the rug, he then got up to leave and a second later, I noticed something on the rug, it was not directly where he had been sitting, but a few inches away! I looked closier and it was a worm, looked to me like the worms you find in the dirt outside but it wasn't that big, of course I haven't ever seen a baby one of those but it moved like a snake it was about an inch or inch and a half long,red-brown in color, and was really thin. OMG! I think it came from his bo-hiny!!! Does that sound right? What kind of worm is this? He is going at 9:30 for his shot updates and worming! That really freaked me out!It has been awhile (1 yr) since his first round of anything, it has been a bit tight, since I brought home all the ferals from the carwash, paying for all of their shots and spay/neutering, so I'm sure he needs immediate attention!
Something else I have noticed about Spook, recently whenever I would love on him, (rub his body, while he laid on his side) I could feel his rib cage, it seemed to me like it was protuding a bit, so I am wondering if that has something to do with the other? Thanks again for just being here and helping all of us! Monique

Thought I would give an update, the last post I had was crossing over the bridge about a cat that met his unfortunate death under my truck, I said things happen for a reason, and was worried that something bad would might happen to one of my kittys, I also said Scream was going in to be spay the following day! She did, everything seemed fine that evening when I picked her up, but the next day I noticed she never would come out of Jace's room to eat, drink or see us. I checked on her often, but was busy most of the day working, that night I knew something wasn't right, and called the vet the next day, they said some cats reacted differently to the surgery, etc. she may not want to eat but if she doesn't by tomorrow for me to bring her in! Did I mention that last week was my week from h---? It was! In between all of this, I was bringing Jace to school, stopped at a red light behind an old lady, and when the light turned green.....well I'll put it to you like this...I started to go and she didn't! I hit her, didn't hurt her car, thank goodness! as for my truck, 1200.00 worth of damage!
I am on a roll, and the ball is getting bigger! lol what else oh yea! Scream... ok I then (the next day) brought her immediately to the vet. she had 105 temp.. No wonder she wasn't eating let alone moving!OMG! Well all I could think of was that cat I had runned down, and I just prayed, I prayed the blood of the lamb over Scream!!!
They gave her a shot , we got in the truck, and she felt better immediately! Heck I thought she was cured! It was Friday evening and my vet was going out of town! well I noticed that night she got in the bed with me and I could tell she had fever and by the morning she was on fire again! I couldn't get dressed fast enough and called another vet, told them it was an emergency and went flying downtown to his office!
Whenever I walked in with Scream, the girls behind the desk were pretty rude. and aloof, I told them I just called and it was an emergency and could I go on back and see the vet? They took their time and asked me, Had I ever been there before? I said No, and they said Well you will need to fill out these papers first! (Wrong!) I thought and I replied, Can't that wait? By then I probably was about to explode, they should have in my opinion taken my cat from me as soon as I came in the door! But no they didn't and I had to fill out the papers with one hand and hold my cat in the other! I was very upset! We did get into a room and he finally came, did blood work, gave her a shot and some meds for me to give her at home! She is fine, that wopping bill was 107.00!
That is what I mean't while ago about it being tight around here! Needless to say I have been laying low since all of my mishaps last week! Oh boy, yea! I knew something! Then of course the worm and Spooky! I'll quit rattling now, thanks and omg don't ya just have to laugh, I do! Crazy! Crazy! Monique
