I am new at this .. yeah.. computer geek and NEVER have I posted a message except email or been in a chat room.... but I have a cat who's front two paws have thorny looking growths on them.. he is 16 years old and lives in the bed.... inside cat.. allergies...takes prednisone...for mold spores... is this a REAL problem or no?

Greetings! Welcome to TCS. I noticed your post in Announcements. You'll get more exposure to the people who might be able to answer your question, over here in "Health". Of course, your vet is the best authority.

It may be just dry skin. I would recommend making an appointment with the vet at your convenience. It's not likely to be a serious problem but it's better to have it looked at, and if it is uncomfortable then the vet may be able to offer some help.
