got the new tree, the cats' christmas present, put together this saturday. i had lots of furry help while assembling, of course! here they are, after everything's put together...
the new tree, with Java on top

came with 2 toys... here's the 1st on the floor - lasted about 2 seconds

here's Java, working on that 2nd toy...

almost got it...

i ended up tying the toy on with a shoestring!
here are Cable & Java playing together on the tree

Cable, checking out the hoop/tunnel

Pixel, as befits her age
watching from the bed!

Oh wow! I would love to get Marlee one, but on a college students budget, that might be hard (especially since my parents pay for most of my stuff, I feel bad asking for extra!) But hopefully I can buy atleast a small one soon.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost??
i bid $20, & shipping was $51, so total was $71 - according to the seller, market value is $239 - which i think is pretty close. whati did, was decided ahead of time what my total outlay would be, & checked shipping on each one i bid on to make sure i didn't go over that.

i know it's early for christmas, but i'm having surgery on 12/14, so i couldn't wait till christmas to do it. they're also really enjoying the big box it came in!
