Stray needs home

A neighbor of an aquantance of mine called her and said that she has been feeding a friendly male cat for abt 6 mths. She believes he is a yr old. She wants to find him a nice home. Her in-house
female doesn't like him.

He is a black & gray shorthair. She said she has called him "Ramses" because he reminds her of an "Egyptian" (Abssynian?) Cat. His front paws have been declawed.

If anyone is interested, please call Willie at 618-548-1851. This lady is a nice, elderly lady. So, please call only if you are seriously interested in giving "Ramses" a loving home.

You might want to take her phone number down off this post? Instead have someone email you if they are seriously interested in giving this wonderful cat a home. Having a personal phone number on the Internet is never a good idea IMO

Do you know if in those 6 months whether someone has tried to locate the cat's (former) owner? Since the cat has been declawed, he obviously had an owner at some point.
If no one has attempted to find the owner, it's possible that this kitty has a home but likes the new friend he has found in this neighborhood and is hanging around because he is being fed.
However, if he is indeed a stray, I hope the woman finds a good home for him .
