Smelly kitty

My Elliott is 6 months old, and passes gas alot. Mostly if you pick him up around his stomach area. Sometimes though just laying around. He has been eating Purina Cat Chow - Indoor Formula. Any ideas why he is always smelling the place up?

Generally a gassy kitty is a reaction to the food he is being fed. Very slowly switch thim over to a better quality food and see if that doesn't help out.

My kitten used to get gas and it stopped when I changed her diet...just like Hissy said!

Any idea what the best food would be?

I would recommend Nutro natural choice the regular kitten or California Natural or Royal canins baby/ kitten cat... Natural choice and royal canin are at petco California natural is a bit harder to find at mom and pop shops
