For those who missed the explanation of what a Galofie is, the original threads are HERE and HERE.

I finally got around to uploading some new pics; here they are:

Here she is with her boyfriend, Misto (whom you can read about HERE):

However, like most couples they occasionally have their spats:

Such lovely kitties you have!! Sophie is simply adorable, innocence and curiosity is all literally oozing off her face, once again that might just be a galofie attribute.

haha and last pics with her boyfriend are hilarious!!

She just so unbelievably gorgeous. I even love her short tail. I think everything about her is just beautiful.

Great pics!

Now we know Sophie is a Galofie
, but what is Misto? Is it an inter-breed relationship?

Misto is a good old, honest-to-God, oranged-striped Tom cat (who's been neutered). The provenance of his name is:

Kashmir -> Kashmeow -> Mr. Kash Meow -> Mr. Meow -> Misto Meow -> Misto!

Mike, I think both of your cats are beautiful....but especially love how your galofie`s white whiskers sow up against her lovely colors!
Great pics I might add.

Thanks for all the kind responses -- You should know that the cats really appreciate them!

The trick to getting her to pose like that is to have someone waving a toy above and behind the camera. Cats naturally look cuter when they're looking up, and even more so when their face is pointed in a different direction than their body (like in the second photo).

You may notice that portrait photographers shooting female subjects often put them in the same pose. It's called the Athena pose (like the statue), and it works for cats too!

Well, Galofies are definitely rare, and Sofie Galofie is one of a kind.

I guess there's always cloning!
