YES! every time we have painted a wall. We have only ended up with one room that I was unhappy with once it dried. What color did you paint?

I've done a two tone texture on the wall. Its 'victorian garnet' and a lighter lavender pink.....

Sure if I don't want to knock it down

Okay here we are in the middle of the drying process. Please excuse the laundry on the sofa....

Beth - I really like it! I love how you just did an accent wall. I think it looks really good. One day I will get brave a paint the rest of our house. In June I painted our Kitchen and Great Room. I was a little worried about the kitchen at first. But it turned out fine.

Do you like the way it turned out after that second coat of garnet?

I love a bold accent wall! I usually only get to paint boring conservative colours, I'd love to do some faux finishing and some really bold colours for a change. Did you have fun doing it?

I've actually ended up just doing a flat color and abandoned the texture idea. I'll need another coat to cover it all the way but its coming out okay.
