It looks great! Is the restaurant going to be in LA?
I can't wait for more pictures! Are ya'll doing the decor yourselves? For my final for one of my classes in college I chose to do a restaurant and it was just so much fun! You can do so much with them as far as making it fun and having a cool atmosphere. I wish you all the best luck with your dream!

Looking good! The name will hopefully bring you good luck, because where I'm from there is family owned chain (I think 3 total so far) mexican restaurant named Las Margaritas that is absolutely wonderful! I eat there as often as I can, so I wish that you and your family have the same luck!

OKay.... dont have any new pics of the work yet but here are some pics of the restaurant we work in now. This is how we are going to have it painted.
The guy who does the painting is a famous artist from Mexico!!!
Our boss bought a BIG house here and there are 3 guys making all of our booths and tables and the painter is there painting them.
I will go there maybe today and get some pics of those!!
Im so excited!!!!
This is how we are going to have the inside painted.
These are paintings of famous actors and actresses from Mexico (specially delivered from Mexico)
And this the kind of waiting area furniture we will have....all from Mexico.
We put a bow on him for Christmas.LOL

I think what will make our restaurant, not just GOOD but GREAT, is that we will have all authentic furniture, painting, and most importantly food.
Also, My husband and I just LOVE the restaurant business. We love making people happy. And FULL.
I have to go get pictures of these booths these guys are making. They are hand making every one of them. They will not be like the normal ugly (IMO) booths. These are made of wood and will be cushioned on the seat part and back. Also they are carving designs on the sides of them. The booths are tall (which I love). Tall booths are unique and I think allow for more privacy. when I say "Tall" I mean not hard to get in.... LOL, but tall on the back and sides.
I just cant wait.
I will try and go take pics of those today.

Okay here are the pics of the booths. Please keep in mind they are not finished. They are being made from the bottom up.And the stain they are going to use is actually going to be darker.I didnt care for this light stain.
The girls "testing" them for sturdiness.
This is what they are going to do to the sides of each booth. But each will have different pictures.
This is a huge 12 foot long and 5 foot tall painting that the painter from Mexico is painting to hang up. He wasn't near finished with it but I thought I would take a picture of what he had already done. He is also painting pictures (all different and unique) on all of the table tops. He actually build the tables himself, then paints the top and coats it with a clear, thick coating.
I couldnt get the whole painting in one pic so I took 2.
