It seems like if I stay on a "reply" page too long, the website "forgets" what it was doing and when I click "post", it tells me that I can't post because I am not logged in. This happens even when I am on my home computer, where I am logged in all the time.

When I try to log in from that page, I get an error message about an invalid threat. If I try to navigate back, the post I typed is almost always gone.

This is especially annoying because these are usually long posts that took a fair amount of time and effort to compose.

I try to remember to copy the text I've just written before I post so I can just paste it back into the reply window if I lose the thread, but there has to be a better way!

Can anyone offer any advice (other than the obvious advice to shut my big yapper and stop writing such long posts
)?

Thanks!

Has this been happened for a while, or has it just started today? Since we just upgraded to a new server if it's been happening for a while it could now be fixed (please let us know if it isn't!); or if it's just started today then the problem may be with a setting or something which we need to let Thomas know about.

Thank you!

Simple solution to the problem. Just before you post:
1) Select all the text
2) Copy them using right click, you do not even need to paste it on anything for it to remember.
3) If the post fails just right click on paste

I actually do that everytime I post or send a long pm because I was having that problem too. I haven't noticed the problem lately though.

I know a few people have made mention of this in the past. Posting marathon polls in CT made me think it was just a matter of time before it happened to me, but it never has.

It's been happening for a while. It seems to happen whenever I stay on a "reply" screen for more than a couple of minutes.
