Are you putting a hint in your SS package?

I am just curious what, if any type of hints on your identity you are putting in your Secret Santa package.

Kim received a gift with the hints being names of the person's cats, and Rhonda has received a gift with NO hints.

There are no hints in my package, but the postmark will help considerably. There are only a few members from my state and if you do a search in the Lounge for my state, I am one of the few that show up. I also dropped a few hints in the SS Hint thread.

What are you doing about hints?

MIne is getting "something" as a hint (can't go into too many details right now!
) as well as the postmark.

im right there with you-- the post mark is pretty much the only hint im giving. I dont think there are too many people from my state here either. If i gave my cats name, my person wouldnt have to even guess as his name is so unique. Although i guess i "could" edit all my posts to exclude my cats name and take his pic and name off my siggy-- then my person would HAVE to guess unless she printed out some of my posts LOL im not going to do that though-- too much trouble. Pretty much my postmark is gonna be my only major hint

I'm not sure if I will or not either. Including Waffle's name would be a dead giveaway, and even saying something like "from the breakfast kitty" would just make it way too easy.

I may post from a different state!

But if we put in a newspaper or postcards, that would, of course, give it away. If my SS is paying attention, they will guess from the gifts!

I was thinking about posting it from a different state, too. Since I travel so much, I could really throw them off. (Of course, there are lots of us from the Chicago area, so even the real postmark wouldn't necessarily be that much of a giveaway.)

I probably won't do anything deliberate, but there might be some clues for an observant recipient
and of course there's always the postmark that you can't do much about.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what (if anything) I will add as a hint!
The cat hair on the cellotape might be a bit of a hint, but then again, maybe not!

I considering the possibility of adding a newspaper, but we'll just have to see!

Hey Tari,

If you are in my area - I will give you my package to post from somewhere else, OK?

Isn't that the truth, Sarah? If I could just wrap one gift without cat hair on the tape

Unless my SS doesn't know me very well, the NZ postmark is going to be a dead giveaway, are any other kiwis participating in this???
I still have one more thing to buy and then I will be able to send their package. They might even get it after christmas!
Sorry SS!
